Rebecca Levy

Rebecca R. Levy (Jacksonville, FL) is a choreographer and performer, who recently moved to Jacksonville from Los Angeles, California. She is founder and former co-artistic director of the Los Angeles-based B.E. Productions Dance Company. Her choreographic work with the company has been featured in festivals and concerts throughout the country. As a free-lance choreographer, director and filmmaker, she was afforded the opportunity to create work for opera, musical theater productions, films, sports events and commercial stage. As a performer, Rebecca toured nationally for six seasons as a soloist with Lineage Dance Company. Additional performance credits include: DanceArt Company of Los Angeles, Jazz Spectrum Dance Company and Boston Dance Collective among many other independent choreographers. In addition to her teaching master classes and workshops at numerous dance institutions and universities throughout the country, Rebecca is on the dance faculty at Jacksonville University, Florida State College at Jacksonville, and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. She holds her BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, and an MFA in Choreography from California Institute of the Arts.
